Saying What You Mean in Movement: “It Ain’t What You Do, It’s the Way That You Do It”
We choose music, choreography, costumes and props because they help us “say” what we want the audience to feel. But compelling performances are far more about how you move than what you move. And creating compelling performances is much easier when you know the secrets of human coordination and how to use them.
Using simple principles of movement, we will explore those secrets and learn how to think, move and communicate clearly on stage. The workshop will be highly experimental and exploratory; bring any costume pieces, props, music and/or shoes you want to work with.
